At some point in human life some humans learn how little religious radicals, politicians, and idealogs comprehend about the human experience. This lady in particular was a well-behaved progressive focused on and living the life of a radical feminist. Then, she woke up. Who woulda thunk it?

Christina Hoff Sommers (/ˈsʌmərz/; born 1950) is an American feminist, author and former philosophy professor who is known for her critique of late 20th century feminism, and her writings about feminism in contemporary American culture. Her most widely discussed books are Who Stole Feminism? How Women Have Betrayed Women and The War Against Boys: How Misguided Feminism Is Harming Our Young Men. Sommers is an equity feminist who faults contemporary feminism for "its irrational hostility to men, its recklessness with facts and statistics, and its inability to take seriously the possibility that the sexes are equal – but different." Some of her critics refer to her as anti-feminist.

Obama's war on White House women: Column We'd be closer to pay equity if Democrats would stop cheating their own female staffers.

Then it turned out that the Obama White House itself pays women workers less than men. White House Press Secretary Carney didn't mention his wife's choices, but did argue that the number was misleading because women held different jobs. Well, yes. Federal law says you have to pay people the same for the same work; it doesn't say you have to pay secretaries the same as press secretaries. This is true both in the White House, and in the private businesses that the White House was attacking.

But that's just the beginning. As the Washington Post reported, many vulnerable Democrats have a pay gap, too:

Sen. Mark Udall of Colorado pays women workers 85 cents for every dollar he pays men.

Sen. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana pays women 88 cents on the dollar.

Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia pays women 75 cents for every dollar he pays a man.

Rep. Gary Peters pays women 67 cents for every dollar that a man makes.

And Sen. Mark Begich of Alaska pays women in his office 82 cents for every dollar that a man makes.

70 percent of White House staffers in the top-salary bracket were men, and male White House staffers earn on average 13 percent more than female staffers.

The liberal elite ... know that the people simply cannot be trusted; that they are incapable of just and fair self-government; that left to their own devices, their society will be racist, sexist, homophobic, and inequitable -- and the liberal elite know how to fix things. They are going to help us live the good and just life, even if they have to lie to us and force us to do it. And they detest those who stand in their way."

Today, President Obama signed a new Executive Order to prevent workplace discrimination and empower workers to take control over negotiations regarding their pay.

Just over two months after President Obama raised the minimum wage to $10.10 for federal contractors, he is again leading by example and taking action to protect American workers from retaliation if they broach the topic of unequal compensation. This is a problem facing a broad range of American workers, but women in particular are too often on the receiving end of subtle or overt penalties for even mentioning their pay.

In addition, the President is asking the Secretary of Labor to require federal contractors to submit data on employee compensation by race and gender — which will help employers take proactive efforts to ensure fair pay for all their employees.

President Obama is committed to ensuring equal opportunity and empowering women in the workforce. Shortly after taking office, he signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act and established the National Equal Pay Task Force. His commitment to women’s equality stems not only from his experiences as the son of a single mom, a husband, and the father of two daughters, but also as our nation’s leader, focused every day on strengthening our economy and maintaining our competitive edge in the world.

Marvin, it would be another parting of the Red Sea if you would come to the realization that no-one is attached by the hip to anything; unless of course it's their Siamese twin. For example, take a few minutes to listen to the youtube video and jot down a few notes of your observations. I know that would require a little effort on your part, but it would help teach you the difference between attacking the message, messenger, and poster. Give it a try. It won't hurt too much. Besides, there's medication available if it does.

Sorry Expat, there's not enough medicine in the world to deal with your kind of pain...

Oh, but you see you're wrong in at least two places.

1. ExExpat is not equal to 'Expat'

2. You didn't watch the video or take notes and report back with observations and input

Instead, you took the low road. Yes, I'll get there later than ye, and you will be in Scotland afore me, but hey, I ain't going to Scotland right now. By the way, that wasn't a rock I threw at ye from the high road; it was an acorn. You see, acorns are falling now and mighty oaks from little acorns grow.
