Thank you so much! I called and they are going to look into it. Apparently they are beefing up the military in Kiev. On her way to her mom's she passed like forty or so various heavily armed vehicles. This whole thing is very very unsettling.

Those vehicles are not going to remain in Kiev. They will be transferred to Donbas.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I want to say though, regardless of where anyone lives in Ukraine it is very scary for everyone there. Ukraine is like the size of Texas and Louisiana. At anytime, Russia could

EASILY swallow up the country, nonetheless invade Kyiv. I'm very worried because Putin is a ticKing time bomb. Things could escalate in days not months. "If" Kyiv were to be invaded the airports and the US embassy will more than likely be on high alert or for that matter closed or worse, destroyed. That is my fear. When you're dealing with someone like Putin I believe anyone who has a loved one in Ukraine should be concerned. And may I say this is my own speculation. But as history shows we have every right to be concerned.

It can't hurt to try. Maximum loss is the time and expense of one phone call. So give it a shot.

In the interim, she should go to a safe city, keep a low profile and don't argue with anybody. Let the time pass quietly.

I just revived this...Thank you for your inquiry. The California Service Center acknowledges receipt of your request for expedited handling of your I-129F, Petition for Fiancé. After careful review, it has been determined that request does not meet the expedite guidelines established by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. As such, the case will be adjudicated in date receipt order.

I don't know what it takes.. I guess she needs to be shot or missing a limb for it to be expedited. It's ok for thousands of illegal immigrants to just walk over the border. But when I an American citizen is requesting to get the one I love out of a country that's going through war they say NO!?

I'm so sick of this countries ### backwards way of things!
