so now i have a checklist!!! i feel like crying !

Hi, we are on the same boat! I have been trying to get this process to be done as soon as possible and then, by talking to my husband last night he was telling that is just better to wait. Like me, you have been married for less than two years which means that your husband will get a Conditional Green Card, correct? If gets all of his documents after you guys have been married for more than two years, then he will get his permanent green card and you won't have to deal with this crazy process again. I am just saying.... It is one positive way to look at this long process and not lose your mind.

I sent the AOS package about two weeks ago. After reading a post here, I realized that I made mistakes on ALL OF THE FORMS!!! I am petitioning for my husband and step-daughter and when I filed the affidavit of support part 3 I completely messed it up. I put the name of my step-daughter on my husband's application, and my husband's name on my step- daughter application. I didn't know that since there both have different visas petitions, I didn't have to include them on each other's application. So, last week I called NVC and told them about it. The guy on the phone told me to send the applications again and when the time comes for them to check, they will already have the new and corrected forms. IT IS A WHOLE MESS AND REALLY HARD TO EXPLAIN, LOL!
