Do your parents claim you on their taxes or do you have any other siblings they claim? Or dependents.

Okay so on your I-864 unless you claim a dependent, will be just you and your wife.

On your parents, they need both of them, the immigrant, and any children or dependents. So 2+1+2 = 5

Do they make enough together for a household of 5?

Yeah.

Thanks a lot for the help! I was so confused.

Just to confirm

My parents file One i864 and my mom files i864a

And on the i864 they check off I am the only joint sponsor, right?

no but your father should also then provide his W2 to prove his part of the income.

or rather that his income is all the income. I'm not sure if the tax transcript will show her as unemployed. If it does, don't bother with the W2.

Thank you for all the help! This is hopefully the Lastt question. I will post in the next comment but for these questions, do I just leave it blank? I am including my parents in they gi household size because I live with them. But it says if I include them, I file i864a . So do I just write yes and not file?

These questions.

You do not include your parents in your I-864 household size.
