Good evening all. I have a question if someone has experience with this. So, recently I was transferred from TSC and went through the slew of notices that it went to local office, then something else, now a notice tonight that case was transferred and is now pending and I have to wait 180 days from transfer??! what in the world is that all about? 5 months for me and my fiancé will be September so I am kind of concerned... any help would be appreciated.

"it says that my case is now pending and undergoing standard processing at a USCIS office....please allow 180 days after transfer to inquire about this case..."

The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

This is what is online when I sign in to check my case.

I got the same message last night. Got NOA1 about a week before you in April so seems as though we're on the same timeline. I was also transfered to CSC last week. I just called the recording and got the 180 message also. I'm not too concerned about the recording since it doesn't seem to keep track of what's actually going on (last week it told me I was transferred to Mesquite, TX when it was actually transferred OUT of there and into Cali). If anything I think this could be a good thing .. could mean they are looking at our applications! I might call up and speak to someone this morning about it but they're not any better there than the recording. The girl I spoke to last week about the transfer told me it would be transferred here to NJ for processing. So they're just as blind as the recording!

It's not saying you have to wait 180 days, it's saying you shouldn't ask them what's going on until 180 days has passed.

After transfer, you should receive an approval within 60 days. If you don't, that would be unusual and you should file a service request online and/or ask to speak to Tier 2 if you decide to call and ask about the delay.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Hi, I also was in the August 08-11,2014 mass transfer out of TSC. I recieved no email notice, but did recieve a hard copy of transfer to CSC with my Fiance recieving an A###### on the form.USCIS has a new boss man and he has the task of fixing this broken visa system. The service centers are doing whatever they can to move this backlog of visa petitions. USCIS is a new US government office created after the 9/11 bombings in the US. A new approach is needed to this visa approval process. One US government office should be responcible for approving petitions. The next step would be approval at the foriegn fiance's embassy with both parties at the interview. Approval and visa given before departure of Embassy grounds. This is my opinion.

So, someone is sending out text and email and posting update notices on the entire USCIS system to ensure they continue to recieve a paycheck from the UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY.That is what is happening at USCIS. Wish you the best.
