Not sure how such a statement is helpful. Clearly, the religion itself is not at fault. Paramilitary terrorist activity is not based on religious affiliation but on perceived threats to territory and a way of life. Making facetious comments about this being a religion of peace and love entirely fails to address either the horror and cruelty of such executions or how to combat those who are to blame, all it does is demonstrate a misunderstanding of both the muslim religion and the geopolitical issues that are at stake in the region where ISIS is operating.

The video did not say "stay away from our home" it said "We are coming to get you" .. The religion these people are practicing is repugnant whatever name they chose to call it.

So we will go another round of listening to the big talk and saying they want to martyr themselves and in a year they will surrendering to drones crashed in the desert... whereupon we will leave without completing the job and the religious nut jobs can rebuild again.. Why should Israel be the only one to lather-rinse-repeat in the middle east?

There's religion and there's ideology. Not necessarily the same thing.

I'm pretty sure they didn't do a religious service before they murdered the man.

Let's not politicise this or create hatred against Muslims, because as appalling as this murder is, it's not right to whip up anti Muslim hysteria.

Yeah. What is it with all these young British kids running off to join ISIS etc?

I don't think even the parents of some of these kids know, if you read some of the interviews. Disaffected youth, lack of educational opportunities? I'm not sure even that really explains it. You'd expect it from people born and brought up in repressive countries like iraq and afghanistan but not from people originating from a supposedly enlightened country.

I think what is clear is that the war on terror hasn't had the effect that was intended, but certainly the one that was predicted.

Coming to a british street near you...Who needs a gun to kill when you can use a knife or meat cleaver... When that soldier got hacked up a few years ago. there was a bobby on standing a few hundred yards away ... That muslum was walking around with that cleaver in his hand for what 5-10 minutes..That bobby was crapping his pants hoping that someone with a gun would show up and handle the situation. This kind of war will soon be on the british streets.. Homegrown terrorist.....The public not allowed to carry... Fish in a barrel for radical Islam..

...A t least here in america we will have a fighting chance for our own protection.

That's a little alarmist don't you think? This isn't anywhere near as mainstream as you want to believe it is.

And strangely, incidents like what happened to Lee Rigby aren't a good argument for allowing people to carry guns. That much should be obvious to anyone.
