Question for those who got an NOA2 from TSC

Hi everyone, I'm a January filer who was sent to TSC. I got some great help from my Congressman's office who called USCIS many times on my behalf. On Monday they called for a followup after speaking to a supervisor the previous Friday and were informed that we had been approved.

My only concern is that since then our status on the USCIS site still reads as initial review and I never got a text or email notice I'm hoping to get the hard copy in the mail soon. Has anyone else here who's gotten an NOA2 from TSC gotten their hard copy before the website was updated?

If you signed up for text/email alert, you should get one before receiving the NOA2 hardcopy in the mail. I did but there are some people who didn't though. I believe if the USCIS website is still showing Initial Review, the NOA2 has not been input into the system. Hopefully, it'll change soon.

The NOA2 status update came on Thursday 6/26, I had the hard copy by Monday 6/30.

Me. I received a hard copy in the mail. No website updates. Then a month later, I got another NOA2. so, I really am not sure what happened the first time around. But my approved petition did not get sent to NVC till 5 weeks after the first NOA2 date.

I think there is no consistency in how they handle the notification.

I signed up for email and text, and got it for NOA1, but not for NOA2.

Also, I found out about the NOA2 because I saw the web site update (by checking every few days),

and about week later, received a hard copy.

If your case is approved, you should be able to call them and get confirmation,

or simply wait few days, and you should received a hard copy notice.

I could never get through the phone to NVC, but I was able to talk to USCIS

few times without too much trouble.
