It is not likely that attending your bio-metrics appointment ahead of schedule will speed up your application if you filed early on inside the 90-day window preceding your eligibility date. I have not seen any conclusive evidence of this either way, but previous debates in these forums as well as careful observation would suggest that this assumption is fairly reasonable.

I don't want your suffering! I don't want your future!

Hi Jenny,

If I can give you any advice is that you need to be a little more patient, especially since your anniversary date is only next month. There is a lot of speculation on whether an early walk-in biometrics will speed up the process and the consensus is that it doesn't, at least not for most people. Each case is different and some people's biometrics take longer to get processed than others. You did yours less than a week ago, most people take 3-4 weeks to be put in line for interview after the biometrics.

I do understand that it's really hard to have to wait during this process for all the different steps. It's pretty nerve-wrecking at times. I check for updates almost daily!! I'd wait a little longer and if you haven't heard anything in a month or so, then I'd start to worry and act on it by calling USCIS to inquire.
