Very sorry to hear it. Don't worry about the immigration part. You can file ROC alone. Look at the I-751 instructions.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

I'm sorry to hear about your situation but it is very strange that you're worried about immigration right now. The timing doesn't even seem right for you to remove conditions. Your husband went missing today? You have more serious issues to worry about at the moment.

Well... OP needs GC to move on with her life, who needs a husband anyways? Seriously...

Really sorry to hear that. God forbid he is not in an accident. Did you check with the area hospitals? Enquire with his relatives, friends, and coworkers. Also, if you have a joint bank account check with the bank if he withdrew large cash from the account.

Sure you are judging other posts and you will be judged. By the way, no one is judging the OP, just telling her to go find her man. He might be in danger.

Im not judging, I'm just giving some advice...

OP First Things First, contact relatives and friends, call the police and file a report, also contact hospitals, jails and morgues and may GOD be with you and your husband... You may worry about your GC later since there are many things in life that are far more important than a piece of paper.

Everyone deserves the benefict of the doubt and I guess the "Presumption of innocence" just died on this thread.

Why are we all assuming that this happened this morning. The OP said that he left at 5am and that since then she checked if he showed up to work and filed a missing persons report. For all we know, this could have been a week or more ago. She is just stating the circumstances of his disappearance, not a specific day it happened. Lets not be so quick to judge her either.....

Or maybe she called the police, went and talked to them, and she was treated as a suspect and threatened with loss of her green card, so she came here to if the mean cop was right.

Maybe a well-meaning friend was over with dinner so she didn't have to cook, and said friend made an off-hand comment like "gee, if your husband is dead, how can you stay in the country?"

Maybe she called her lawyer, asking for help, and in an effort to reassure her, he said she didn't need to worry about the green card process, regardless of what happens, and she was looking for verification.

Maybe... maybe a lot of things. We could spin stories all day on this one; about the only "guarantee" is that it's a bad idea reacting to someone like you know what the "right" response is in a bad situation.

You got married in Oct 2012, arrived in the US in 2014,right? I'm not sure, but does that mean you are not eligible to file for ROC until 2016 because you set foot in the US in 2014?

Anyways, I hope they'll find your husband soon and that everything is going to be okay. Good luck!

Besides 5 am, WHEN exactly your husband disappeared? In January when you came to the US and since then he has been missing, or since yesterday? I think you're not clear on this OP hence people wonder why are you so super worried on your ROC just because your husband has disappeared from the other. You need to clarify things before people can give you any advice. This way they'll just think you're a freak who immediately wonders on her ROC instead of wondering where the heck the husband has gone since yesterday 5 am. So, yes, we cannot give you any smart advice at this point unless you clarify some things...if I just said my cat died and I'm sad that can mean I've been depressed for 10 years now due to my cat passing on 10 years ago, or I could be sad since it just happened half an hour ago...so, fire away! Tell us when exactly your husband disappeared and we'll go from there...
