Delay In Getting Receipt Acknowledgement for AOS at Chicago Facility

Hello VJ'ers!

Sent our AOS package two weeks ago to the Chicago address via UPS. Have confirmation that UPS made the delivery, but USCIS has yet to acknowledge receipt, send NOA1, cash the checks, etc

See a lot of other people sent AOS after me and they have NOA1, checks cashed, etc.

Doing AOS for both K-1 & K-2

Anyone think this could be the reason for the delay?

Anyone else having the same delay issue?

it can take up to a month to issue an NOA1. How long have you been waiting?

Edit: Oh, I see, two weeks. It's not yet delayed.

Yes, there is a member here had a same problem with you. Fortunately she is finally got confirmation via text and email. I sent mine June 13th, delivered on June 17th, received emails June 23rd, and today ( June 26th) received hard copy for my I-485 and I-765.

I waited over three weeks before getting anything and I was a nervous wreck too. Don't worry,you'll hear something my text came at 10pm one night when I was walking the aisles of Walmart!

Hurray! We got the acceptance confirmation email and texts at midnight! Finally!

Now just waiting for NOA1.

i mailed our packet out on June 21st. Still no word

Fingers crossed for after the July 4th holiday...But hopefully we will hear something before the one month mark.

well I have same problem AOS packet delivered at chicago on 18th of june and get nothing from them yet. I am a k1&k2 filers too.

Update: Finally... I got acceptance at Jul.10. midnight...

Sent I-485 package a couple of weeks ago. No response of any kind yet. It's strange that they have not cashed the check yet. For everything else when I sent a check, they cashed it immediately.

I wonder if the mess down on the border is not affecting things?

I've been checking our bank account every day to see whether they've cashed the check yet I just want to know it hasn't fallen into a corner and been forgotten about.
