None whatsoever; AP takes as long as it takes. That's a very unhelpful answer, but such is the nature of AP, unfortunately.

The exact answer is as long as they want to.

November 14th, 2013: She's here!

December 12th, 2013: Picked up marriage license.

December 14th, 2013: Wedding

Agreed with Hypnos and avery, it's all up to the embassy. If it has taken 1 year already, I would have made calls / emails inquiring for any update if I were you. What visa are you applying for anyway?
