Just out of curiosity, what happens if you, the US citizen, apply for a K1-Visa for a different fiance? My first K1 visa was approved in July 2012 (1 year 9 months ago), brought my ex to the USA and got married. I did apply for a green card for her soon after we married but we divorced 10 months later and I canceled the whole green card process and she never got a green card from me. She attacked me one night, went to the police the next day and applied for VAWA. I have no clue what happened to her after that but police never pressed charges as it was obvious she was the attacker. I met an old friend in Mexico recently who I always thought was gorgeous and we talked and I'm considering starting a relationship with her. I will not apply for a K1 visa right away as we are not in a relationship yet. I will wait at least a year before doing so. I just wanted to know what I was going to be against if I decided to marry her and bring her to the USA.
