Status says still "Ready." Interview was last week.

Hi everyone! My fiance had his interview last week. They didn't directly say he was approved however they took his passport and was told that they will text him once his visa is ready. I checked his status immediately right after and it said "ready" and was touched that very same day. It had a little note saying to check after 2 business days but still no luck. I am worried. He was not given the 211g slip nor was asked to bring extra documents. I think my anxiety level just went through the roof. Anybody experiencing the same thing?

not really experiencing that but I think he is good.....he was approved if they kept his passport so he should receive his passport and visa soon,

The CO normally does not say - APPROVED at the interview. The passport was kept and he was not issued a 221g so all is good.

Just be patient it can still be a couple weeks before the visa is issued.

I doubt it will be much longer before the visa arrives, may be just as easy to wait and get it all done in one day.

what's the status?

It says "ready" you case is open. And it has been like that since after his interview.

I doubt it will be much longer before the visa arrives, may be just as easy to wait and get it all done in one day.
