Hello, guys...

First of all, I would like to say that we have received our NAO2 hardcopy 2/18/14! I am so glad that so far it has gone by smoothly and faster than what I expected! We filed in January 2014.

Now I haven't received or heard anything back about our case...whether the NVC have received it or whether it's on transit to London. I'm just anxiously checking the mail daily to see if I would get anything! ;D

Anyhow, I am in the process of gathering the supporting evidence for the I-134. However, I will be out of the country to visit my home country (not UK) from 3/19 to 4/18. I am worried that during this time I will be receiving something in the mail with a time constraint.

Can anyone let me know what I should expect during the these 4 weeks of me being out of the country? Is this the time that I should expect to receive packet 3?

Is there something that I should prepare or mail out to my fiance before I leave the country?

Thank you so much, guys!

Do not wait for mail from NVC. Call NVC get your case# so you can proceed. Setup medical all that. Go to your countries information page here on VJ

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=United%20Kingdom&cty=London

All the info you need to start and prepare your forms.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the quick response. I have been trying to call the NVC under 1-603-334-0700 for so many times today already and all I've been receiving is a busy tone.

So I don't know how else I'd be able to get my case number to look up anything.

Yes NVC gets busy fast. They are open 7am to midnight EDT. So best to call either first thing in AM or close to closing (less wait and usually not busy). And you are welcome my pleasure.

Thank you so much guys!

I've finally able to get a hold of a representative at NVC, and obtainbed a case number. Yay! Our visa was forwarded to the US Embassy in London on 3/4/14 -- 2 days ago!

I then checked with CEAC and our case is "In transit" with "Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center."

I am a bit confused of when I should expect to receive package 3. I think that would be sent from the US Embassy in London, correct? Should I just want until then...which will probably be when I'll be out of the country.
