From our experience our status went to AP then Ready then AP and then Ready then Issue. That process took about 10 days. You can see it on our timeline.

Your almost there, just have patience and you will have your visa in hand soon.

Hi all smile.png

We're still waiting for our visa status to become "Issued." It would help a lot if you can share how long it took from the day you submitted the document to when you got your visa finally smile.png

We submitted ours Jan 24 and still on "AP" status currently. Thanks so much!

It really depends on what the 221g was for, if it was a request for a document then once the embassy has it they need to add it to your file (when you are next in their stack), review the file once more and if all is well... issue the visa, this could take a week or two. If something more it can be a long wait.

Hi Hank :) Our 221g is very simple. They just asked me to resubmit my cenomar coz the first one that NSO issued, they forgot to put my father's name on it. How many days do u think it would take, coz the cenomar was picked up by embassy from NSO Jan 24. Thanks so much Hank :)

No one really knows. Totally depends on how busy they are "in the back room", so like said it could be a week or a couple weeks.

We also received 221g letter via email after our Interview on January 13, 2014. We submitted the additional documents on January 21, 2014 via 2go courier and yesterday (January 31, 2014) the Manila IV Correspondence Unit emailed as that they received the additional documentation and referred the case to a consular officer for review. They will notify us if the review was completed. Were just hoping and praying to GO that everything will be okay.

So to all that has been issued a 221g by the us embassy, the only thing we must do is to be PATIENT, have FAITH and TRUST with GOD.

I just entrust everything to GOD because I know He will make a WAY to get our visa very soon. GOD is an awesome GOD! :)

Continue PRAYING guys!

everything will be OKAY if we entrust everything to GOD!

FAITH in GOD changes everything! :)

have a nice day ahead! GODBLESS us :)

On AP tonight after today's interview. I was asked to submit Cenomar even though I have Cemar as I am married and under CR1. I thought Cenomar are just for K1. Consuls reasoned out they need updated Cenomar to verify if my husband's name will appear on the marriage index also as proof that I was indeed single before our marriage. Haist!

They have NSO copy of our Certificate of Marriage forwarded by the NVC just last month (January). So our lawyer also find it strange for them to ask Cenomar from me. It was the Filipino Consul who asked and noted that on my file such "updated Cenomar". During the interview I was mistaken twice as Fiancee Visa Applicant which I corrected the consuls twice as well that I'm under Spouse (CR1) Visa Application. Apparently, American Consul congratulated me and gave me pamphlet about Immigrant Rights in the US after the interview and reminded me to order updated Cenomar already to be added on my file.
