Whats the best way to organize this k1 Visa packet? I finished all the paper work and the swing clip folder I got is too small. Does anyone have any suggestions? And What are the common mistakes people make with the I-29f? I just want to make sure I got everything right and yes i went through the step by step guidelines. Thank you.

You will learn that different people prepare and assemble their paperwork/packages/petitions in different ways. Most do not have any problems while others encounter questions about paperwork, missing paperwork, RFEs, and so on... This is what I did for my gal and I. I read the "Guides" section here at VJ over and over and over again for each petiton that she and I submitted. I got everything together, paperwork, documents, etc... I created a cover letter. I created an "INDEX" page with contents for each section(s) and TABs. Finally, I put the contents for each petition in a manila folder with 2 tabs at the top inside the manila folder to attach everything in the package. Make 3 sets of each petition/package you submit - one to be submitted to the USCIS, one for the petitioner, and one for the beneficiary.

I put it all together and let it sit for a few days. I came back to it over and over again making sure I included everything that was required and included explanations for anything that was not included, Some may consider all this work an "overkill" and that's fine with me. And, as a result, my gal and i did not encounter any problems "whatsoever." She did not even have an interview for the AOS or the ROC petitions. The most common mistake is not including necessary paperwork, documents, or not providiing a "reasonable" reason for not including the needed paperwork or documentation. Just my opinion...

Best of luck!

You can double hole punch them and use ACCO fasteners, as the USCIS assembly tips page states > http://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-and-fees/general-tips-assembling-applications-mailing

Or, you can just use paperclips to separate different sections and then just put the stack in the envelope like that without using anything to hold them all together.

Common mistakes are not sending the correct fee, not mailing to the correct address, not including all required supporting documentation, and not sending solid evidence of proof that you met within the 2 years prior to filing.

Thank you for all the suggestions. How about the pictures? I put them all in a sleeve like a photo album. Would they accept that?

Sounds good thank you. But I'm also confused about the mail address I'm sending it to. I went to the USCIS website and it has a texas address but I'm seeing some people on here are sending it to a California address. I am living in California. Wheres the best place for me to send it?

No one mails it to a CA address. The best place to send it is where the instructions tell you to. All I-129F petitions are sent to the Dallas Lockbox facility address as stated on this USCIS page for the I-129F > http://www.uscis.gov/i-129f

From that intake facility, files are either sent to the California Service Center or the Texas Service Center for processing.
