I am a wife of a US citizen, came in US on fiance visa. My husband also had applied for his son (under 21) through form I-130 who lives in India. He had applied both fiance visa & green card for his son in Jan 2013. It has been more than a year and we haven't heard anything about visa for our (step) son. Now I need to know how & where to follow this case. Reliable sources. Please help.

He filed i130 and i129f for his son? The i130 is the only form that he should have filed. Why would he file for a fiancee visa for his son?

Have you checked the case status at USCIS? http://www.uscis.gov

who is who?

regardless, he should have gotten a receipt formletter with a receipt number.

call up USCIS, give over the receipt number, ask for status.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

4. This is our second marriage

5. My husband has 19 years son from his previous marriage & he lives in India with his grand parents

6. He applied for his visa or green card at the time of he applied for a fiance visa for myself.

9. I need to speak to somebody at USCIS instead of listening to recorded messages or options There's a number that you can call written on the i797c form.

Now anyone can help me???

ah - how to get a human @ uscis.

1. call the number again. touch no buttons after it starts to ring. no buttons. NONE.

2. wait 3 to 8 minutes. a human will answer, start talking in spanish.

3. wait for human to stop talking. say 'english please'.

4. answer questions with human.

need ISO? ask for ISO after step 4.
