Hi everyone

My wife is the US citizen and I am the intending immigrant. She picked up my last name when we got married and this new name is indicated on the marriage certificate. However all other documents like her social security, school documents, passport and bank accounts still bear her maiden name.

Now we are filling the adjustment of status forms and in places where it asks for her name she wants to use her new name: which is her first name and my last name UNLESS indicated that she provides her maiden name in which ce she would use her maiden name. Is this correct? I ask this because all her documents like US passport and social security still bear her maiden name. The new name is only on the marriage certificate.

I will really precise an answer. Thank you very much in advance!
