Called DOS

My fiance has been on AP for 11 months now, ourcase has been updating regularly. I called DOS today to get an update, and they told me that the embassy is requesting for a New Medical, pictures and DS260. I told her we have not gotten any e-mails or calls, she said it stated they contacted him, but didnt state the mode of contact, but that the embassy is requesting for fresh documents was really good news. To wait for the letter and then do his medical. We have not gotten any emails, or calls. Can he still go and have his physical done without waiting for this letter?

I would wait for the letter via DHL I don't know how it's sent in Pakistan.My husband was on AP almost 9 months and they did try calling him.He missed the call and I called DOS and they told me renew medical and police send back with passport.I wrote the embassy and they confirmed and said they sent out a letter via DHL.Go ahead and send an email to the CO in Pakistan and wait the letter.

Hi, just email embassy about the status of your case, they will let you know what you need to submit... Inshallah good luck hope new years brings you 2 togather. We submitted our fresh docs in Nov and still no news even though they update our case.

Embassy in ISL is getting better with emails now so just email them. Inshallah, soon you will get your visa

So, he needs something from the embassy to renew this.I already e-mailed them, lets see what they say. Thanks all for your replies!!!! I pray God's mercy over all those who suffer each day for being separated from their loved ones. The journey has been long and very, very hard for all of us who are stuck in this AP, but praying and hoping for a great 2014 for all, and most important that families get to reunite soon.
