The Los Angeles City Council unanimously passed an update to the Municipal Building Code on December 17th, 2013 making Los Angeles the first major city to require all new and refurbished homes to have a “cool roof.”

...

A cool roof uses material that naturally reflects sunlight as opposed to absorbing the sun’s radiant energy. The result can be more than 50°F cooler on the surface of the roof during a hot summer day and can cool the interiors of buildings by several degrees Fahrenheit.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power has expanded its cool roof incentives, making the difference between a cool and hot roof cost neutral.

That's just going to reflect light back into our super clean atmosphere which will reflect it back to......... I dunno, Boehner?

By reflecting the light and heat back into the atmosphere, won't that just accelerate the Obama global warming?

Well, the atmosphere is so dense with carbon it reflects it back to earth. But its concentrated on John Boehner. Keeping him a healthy orange.

The more tan you are, the more liberals will be guilted (that's not a word?) into voting for you.

I wonder if their is a link between ones tan and their level of tolerance?

Quite the opposite. ;)

Los Angeles might just have started the next Ice Age. Or, as Hollywood calls it, Ice Age 4

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

It not only cools the interior of the building but it changes the color of the walls from commie pink to a more palatable Caucasian.

Palatable Caucasian? Looks more like pasty Albino to me. dry.png

Check the graphics properties on your monitor. Make sure the "moral majority" block is checked.
