Is that true, when uscis approved a K1 visa they sent directly to the consulate or what? Because i spoke with a Customer representative and told me that... i dont know what to believe??

Yes, that's the general rule of thumb for K-1 as far as I understand it. We only "pass through" the NVC... on our way to the Consulate/Embassy.

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

once the petition leaves USCIS, it is sent to the NVC and then they send it to the consulate... good luck! you should call within two weeks after it was SENT to the NVC....

Yes, that's the general rule of thumb for K-1 as far as I understand it. We only "pass through" the NVC... on our way to the Consulate/Embassy.

Mostly this is true, but now and then they put approved K1's into AP at the NVC stage. Just to be aware that it does happen.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

They approved my case on nov 12 so i called DOS or NVC and they dont have it...how could I know if is an AP?? Doea the nvc has to give me a new case number right? ?? I am ao confuse at this point...

So they approved my case on nov 12 but on Dec 13 they reaffirmed that they shipped off my case to DOS, so which is the real date that they aent it??? Nov 12 or Dec 13??. Help please

yes... you can check here under ¨guides¨and there is the phone number for NVC..... call them in like a week or two and they will give you your case number:)

you should have gotten it already if you were approved 11/12 according to your timeline.... call USCIS and follow up... it has been more than 30 days and you have note received the original NOA2...

If I'm not mistaken I've seen you mention you are the beneficiary? The NOA2 hard copy goes to the petitioner. If they haven't received it yet, I second following up with USCIS. You'll need it later on.

Thanks to everybody for ur response..... so i will receive mu NOA2 soon???

It took a week after approval on the USCIS website when my fiance finally received NOA-2 hardcopy. Since your I-129F was processing at TSC, better to call NVC or Departmen of State (DoS) at Visa Unit to get your case number immediately. I've got my case number 2 weeks after approval date. See my timeline to get an estimate times for each stage even though may vary to many others. Good luck!
