Still no news on my I-765 so I'm entering my second week of forced leave without pay, I've rattled all the cages I can for the expedite but so far it hasn't produced any results. I'm really hoping that once it does get to CPO that USPS get it here quickly as I'd hate for another agonizing wait and I don't think you can use E-Verify for an I-766 (EAD) without the card number, which I wouldn't have until I got the physical card.

I knew last week was going to be a write off with nothing that could be done so I went camping in the backcountry with one of our dogs in East Texas for the week to get away from it all but now I'm back and as anxious as ever.

@aussie_jason I think you applied a week after I did, so hopefully yours should be done next week.

I just got a notice from the CIS Ombudsman that they have reviewed my case and contacted USCIS so hopefully that results in my EAD being issued imminently.

Just got notice of my interview on April 7th, hopefully USPS doesn't lose the notice so I know what time and where. The edit timeline function seems to be having issues at the moment so I can't edit my timeline.

Well my EAD as per USPS tracking is supposed to be delivered today but we just got our regular mail and no EAD, the last event on USPS's tracking (which is unreliable at best) says it left TN on Friday. I wish we could elect to pay more to use FedEx or UPS for these deliveries, USPS is just so unreliable in every way imaginable.

I guess I was a little optimistic putting on my work clothes this morning with the expectation of getting my EAD and heading to the office.
