Quick question about ds-160

So I'm filling out the form to try out for the tourist visa again, I got denied a couple of years ago, mostly because it was to visit my boyfriend (I presume) and also because at that time I had only been at my job for a few months. Now I've been working there for 2 years, and still in college, 4 years of that so far. The thing is my grandmother wants to go visit my uncle that lives there, in a different state than my boyfriend and she's 84 so she's scared of traveling alone so she wanted me to fly with her (of course, after that I'd be going to visit my boyfriend, which I'm gonna say at the interview because I'm bad at lying and not interested in doing so)

Soo, my question is, on the part of the form where it asks me if I'm traveling with someone do I say yes? Technically I would be, but then I wouldn't be with her until we got back (and flying there). I'm kindda worried about putting her name on my application, does it create a problem for her if they deny mine? She went there a bunch of times and usually gets 10 year visas so she doesn't have a problem getting it.

Anyway, what do you think? Do I just put I'm going alone and then tell them on the interview?

Yeah, the thing is I have an irrational fear of getting her application denied somehow. The other thing is my grandma didn't apply yet and she's sick so sometimes she wants to and sometimes she feels too ill to go, so I can't say for sure if I'll go with her or not.
