Any advice on what company I should use to send original documents to my fiance in preparation of our interview. In the past, I have sent cards to Tunisia and he never received any of them. I read that many people use DHL or Fed Ex? Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it :)

Thank you so much for your reply. We are waiting for Packet 3 so I am trying to get together the documents that need to be originals. I will try Fed Ex and pray it gets to him in plenty of time :)

I scanned everything, emailed it to my husband and he printed it all out there in Tunisia. Getting any mail there has become horrible. Nothing we have sent to his mother in Tunisia has ever been received by her in the past 2 years. If there is something you absolutely have to send by mail it is definitely best to send it Fedex or DHL even though it costs a fortune.

I am surprised everyone is having so much trouble sending things to Tunisia!

I sent a package to my fiance via the usps and he got it... no problems.

I understand why you wouldn't want to send copies of forms though, with all your personal information on them! I didn't think about that! What about the 1-134 form. Don't you need an original signature? and not a photocopied signature?

Thanks for the reply. Ahmed thank you so much for everything! Your wealth of knowledge has truly helped us so much!

Those of you that have been through the K1 interview process, can you tell me what original documents my fiancée HAS to have from me? What if the paperwork never makes it there? Would they take copies? Interview is end of next month so I will be sending financials and I-134 to him by the weekend. I just don't want to miss anything. I am a bit OCD and want to make sure we are doing everything correctly ;)

Thanks Ahmed.

I understand all that. My real question is what should I sent now ( in the mail)? He has a full copy of our petition. It is my understanding that I mail the I-134 and the letter of intent because they both need my original signature. I will also send the photos and the NOA2 (approval letter). Thanks for your help! I promise I am not always so stressed :)

Send him the I-134 form and the letter of intent/continued support of visa, because of the original signatures, and the passport photos. KEEP the NOA2 hardcopy as you will need it for AOS and you don't want to risk losing it. Copy it and send that, along with the other copies you will be sending.
