Boarding Passes

My boyfriend is coming to visit me next week and we haven't submitted the I-129F yet so I told him to hold on to his original boarding pass for this trip. Will that, in addition to the passport stamps and itineraries for previous trips during this past year, be enough primary evidence of having met within the 2 year? I threw out all our previous boarding passes, not thinking I would ever need them.

If not, is there any way to get old boarding passes? Can I request a copy from the airline? Or is that overkill since we'll already have one.

Overkill depends on the Consulate you will be going thru. For the petition to be approved, you only need to meet once during the past two years before submitting the petition. For the visa to be approved, you may need to show a very strong relationship and more than one visit would defiantly help. You can go to the airlines and ask for a copy of old boarding passes. Some will only let you get the last year. It might not be a bad idea to show more than one trip to visit. We had three in the last two years and included evidence of all three visits. If you still have the itineraries, you could use them along with the passport stamp.

I am inferring from your signature that the non-USC half of your relationship is in the UK (you might want to fill in your details a little so it shows up under your picture)...

You'll be interviewing in a really easy consulate, so you don't need to go overboard with loading the petition with evidence for the benefit of the interviewer later. You should put in enough to prove you met (passport stamps are great, since they can't as easily be faked) - which it sounds like you already have - to satisfy the requirements of the petition (and all the other requirements, of course - some relationship evidence like photos etc. should still go in with the petition for example).

Thank you both for your great advice! VJ people are amazingly helpful. I'll try to contact the airlines and see if I can get a copy of another one or two visits, just to be safe, at least for the interview section. I think he's visiting in February too so I'll have at least 2 visits for the interview.

And yes, he will be interviewing at the London consulate.
