I just need to rant somewhere that I cannot WAIT to leave my current job when (all being well) I get approved at my interview and can start arranging my emigration properly.

I've been in this job (at this office, in different roles) for over ten years and even though my current position has been the most challenging and therefore fulfilling, I am so done with it now.

My company deals with repair/maintenance so it's a lot of dealing with angry, rude, stupid members of the public on the phone. I let them get to me too much sometimes - oh, how I wish I didn't! - and this morning I ended up in tears of frustration at my desk after a particularly horrible call.

Finding a new job in a different country is going to be terrifying, but I am SO ready to work somewhere else. Ideally in a place where I give a damn (one lives in hope ).

Two weeks today! The amount of times I told myself that today, just to get through it!
