Hello All,

Just want to see how many people are in the same boat as my husand and I??? My husband had his interview 3/25/13 the CO said everything looks good, and also took his passport.....it has been 6 months almost and still in AP???????????

We are not on AP from Cairo embassy, but we are also in Ap, and it has been 8 longggg months...

I am on administerative processing since the March17, I have been waiting over 6 month Now!! nothing new.

I am lucky, our AP was not long. But there was a friend of mine that her husband was interviewed the 1st week of November in 2012. And they are still in AP hell. I pray for all of you. As of last year it looked like the start to finish time was 18 months. So if visa petitions went fast they got long AP times. If they had RFE's they had shorter AP times. But they all seem to come out at 18 months. But with every thing going there I am not sure what is holding them up. I do know they are working on the petitions. I had another friend that had a 1 year ban, and they are at the the end of that, and Embassy is now moving there case along. There is no patterns to figure out anymore.

it seem very slow and they dont want to give visa to many egyptians specially men but women are lucky

i am in the same boat since 29/05/2013 but my case is worse as i lost my eligibility to receive citizenship beside missing my pre college courses i also want to know if anybody has updates on his case frequently and how they inquire about their cases. i think we should all make calls to the department of state to complain about this. the strange thing is that most k-1 visa petitions i see here in egypt receive there visas without going through AP. I really hope that this nightmare ends to all of us best of luck everyone .
