Question to those that have had K1 &K2 applications

Was just wondering whether if the K-1 beneficiary has progenies who will accompany her on K-2 visas, do those progenies have to pay for visa issuance or is it just the K-1 who pays for visa fees which I think are $100 per applicant.

Im not 100% sure but if i remember right, we payed for the visa fees for my 5 year old daughter.

$100 times the number of K-1's & K-2's issued. So yes, an individual fee is charged for both.

Point of clarification: the fee is not for visa issuance, it's for visa application processing. If no visa is issued one does not get the fee refunded.

So bottomline is that even kids pay for the visas,correct? I thought they should not pay because they are issued visas as 'following to join' which means that their visas are tied to the parents' visa. What is the reason they are paying for visas?

The children are paying for visa application processing because they are submitting visa applications that need to be processed.

And based on what you wrote in the opening post of this thread, the children are 'traveling with' not 'following to join'.

10-4 on what Yodrak said, I confirmed with the US Embssay in Bangkok that the visa fee had to be paid for my fiance's daughter who will accompany her.
