No, because you won't know (unless you are trying to book the flight SOON after visa issuance) what your POE will be. For example, she might fly thru Guam coming out of the PI. That's a POE. Or the west coast. Or Hawaii. It all depends on the route of flight.

My fiance was instructed to call October 23rd to get her results. I will be in Japan on business first week of November. I wanted to schedule her interview myself either before or after my trip so that I can use that opportunity to fly to Manila and be with her for the interview. Rather than make a separate trip to the Philippines.

Yes, Its is possible. Allow yourself enough time, a min 8 weeks after sputum test. After you finally get through to SLMC they will set your appointment to receive the results. You can usually get an appointment for your results in 2-3 days, maybe sooner if you are in Manila already? If your results are negative you will finish the medical the same day (most cases). Then make sure you schedule your interview at least one week out after the medical....Happy planning, it worked for me, Good Luck!
