expedites are hard to get. few and FAR between.

Good day everyone, my husband filed a I-130 last April 25, 2013. we got married last year of June. do we still needed to file I-129F? Why?

anybody can help?

Even if you file the I-129F it's very rare for it to make it through the NVC and to the embassy for a K3. Because it's USCIS policy to adjudicate them together, the NVC became annoyed so developed the policy to administratively close the I-129F if they receive it at the same time or after the I-130. Also a consulate may close the I-129F if there is an approved I-130 on hand.

You don't need to.

I did and it did help move my case out of my local Texas office (they did nothing) and my I-130 was requested back to Kansas City where they cancelled the 129F and approved my I-130 after 8.5 months so if your at 7 months and no news you can try it.

I'm at NVC stage now waiting for case number and IIN number

Good luck keep asking questions on here I wouldn't have gotten this far with out everyones help it's not easy to wait there is no silly question just the ones you don't ask.
