Hi, when I received my father-in-law IV fee invoice sent by NVC tru email, the invoice for his 2 children were generated a long with his invoice under his case and invoice number as well. So, I paid the IV fees for his 2 children using his case and invoice number and both were paid at the moment. However, each of his children has their own case and invoice number and his children invoice came two days after we paid the IV fees and today thier names disappeared under IV application fees. I've read that once their name weren't there, it means that NVC is preparing their invoice to become available to pay online.

This will create a problem? I had the print out of their barcoded cover sheets; however, the generated barcode below the applicant name was not thier case number but their father's case number. Anybody had same problem? Next week, we will be sending the DS230 for each and I was wondering if this will cause a delay. I also printed the receipt that indicates "paid" for each applicant under their father's case number.

We're in F2A category.

Thanks in advance!

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

You should call NVC directly. Payments should be made per case# if separate i-130 has been filed.

If the children's IV fee was paid under their dad's case#, then NVC would assume that they were his derivatives, instead of treating them each as a principal applicant.

I don't know how will that affect their NVC process.

Hi jhunjhun,

No worries, that's the case (they will have a different Beneficiary ID, everything else should be the same - If they are derivatives, they will have the same NVC Case Number and Invoice number as the beneficiary).

When you paid, all persons (Beneficiary and Derivatives) were included under the same Invoice number, you should have no problems.

If you have not call NVC, you can call them for assurance, but all should be fine.

Good Luck.
