hi everyone, anyone pls help me.

i was originally petitioned under F2B, but my petitioner naturalized in 2012. therefore, i am now in the F1 category. but i was able to obtain an approved letter to opt-out to stay in the F2B category. the thing is, i dont know if i should just wait for my PD to be current which im expecting to be somewhere in the nxt couple of months and just bring my opt-out letter during the interview, or should i inform the NVC regarding the opt-out?

am i still going to receive my I/L when my PD becomes current as per my original petition in the F2B or i wont coz i am in the F1 category now as per my petitioner becoming an AC. does anybody here experienced my situation? anybody knows of any procedure after getting an approved request to opt-out? thanks very much and looking forward for an advice.
