Hello all,

I have submitted my AOS august 2012, I had an interview end of October with no decision. My local office sent me an RFE in january and I sent it back with the proof of relationship they asked for on january 20,2013

From mid of january until this moment, I haven't heard from them. Even my case status shows change of address because I filled Ar-11. Never said rfe review.

I made 2 SRs and a useless infopass.

my question is: what else I can do more to get my case moving.

Thanks

Nothing; you are in AP (administrative processing).

You can only get things going to the interview, after you have been given your interview, then they are not forced to approve you. They need to make their checks to figure out if it should be approved or denied.

the interview went fine , she asked us the normal and basic questions, nothing tricky at all.

RFE was about proof of relationship , joint accounts , joint auto or Medical insurance , joint tax return , bills with both of our names .

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

I'm curious what kind of proof did you give to them before the RFE and then what kind did you sent in after the RFE?

Well i went to the interview with a lease contract with both of our name , water bill with both of our names , pictures , a bunch of letters from our families and friends that they know us and joint bank accounts .

They sent me RFE with more proof of relationship , they wanted car insurance, life insurance and medical insurance , more bills of our names , joint accounts and receipts of wedding rings , tax return with our names .

I sent them all .

I sent the RFE to my local immigration office including the letter they sent me . and i received a proof of delivery.

Is there a special way to send RFE ??

Thanks.

No idea if there is a special way to send the RFE, never had to deal with one.

Wish I could be of more help, maybe other can give more insight on this matter.

They didn't separate you and your wife during the interview did they?

Also how long did the interview last?

That's decent amount of proof, I thought you have. I don't have much more than that myself and my Interview is coming up next month. Hope they don't ask for me for more proof.
