we submitted the i-485 together with an advanced parole and an employment authorization in February. She had her biometrics done and we recieved her employment authorization card and advanced parole. It is now June and have not heard anything about the AOS. is this normal? I checked online using the receipt number and it only shows that the card has been sent but nothing about the i-485.

You do not appear to have a time line, you might want to complete same? Check the time lines similar to yours.

This is not unusual - if you have not received an interview letter yet and your petition is being processed at NBC ( national benefits center) then it could take 9 months or more. NBC is currently processing petitions filed in August 2012. We filed September 2012 and our I485 still.says acceptance on the website

AOS from K-1 cases don't always get an interview (50/50 chances). If you are scheduled for one, it is usually pretty fast (1-2 months after biometrics). If your case is waived from an interview, then the wait is pretty long (up to a year).

So this is all normal.

K-1 Visa Timeline AOS Timeline

- Aug 31st, 2011 - Mailed I-129F package - May 29th, 2012 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP package

- Apr 13th, 2012 - Visa received - Aug 24th, 2012 - Green Card received

ROC Timeline

- May 19th, 2014 - Mailed ROC package to CSC

- Aug 8th, 2014 - Green Card received

N-400 Timeline

- Dec 29th, 2021 - Filed online. Got notice that biometrics will be reused.

- Now waiting...
