Well, I am getting nervous. I sent my documents for her interview for $23.95, and was told they would reach her in approximately 10 days. It didn't even leave Miami until 8 days later. Yes, I know, I should have sent the guaranteed faster method...Now, it has been 3 weeks, and I am going to try to get another package ready, since her interview is July 2nd. Now, I try the link that is posted on this site so frequently, and it goes to the IRS, but is not the same as it was when I ordered the transcripts. I can't find where I can order the transcripts online?? Help!!

Thanks

I don't think it's moved. I think their website is broken.

You mean this URL, right? With the no content.. http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Order-a-Transcript

It's linked to from here: http://www.irs.gov/uac/Tax-Return-Transcripts which also lists another way to order transcripts using form 4506T-EZ or via phone.

You can call and ask them to fax you the transcripts. After multiple requests and waiting weeks without anything arriving in the mail, I finally asked them to fax me the transcripts. Good luck with the interview!

Did you make a copy? They will accept copies of the transcripts. Good luck!

Thanks for the good luck wishes! I just now read that the IRS' website had a planned outage Friday. It is back up and running now. I just ordered them, and I am going to try to get them faxed next week too. I want lots of back ups. I don't want to be the one to drop the ball, after waiting most of the year for the government...

Good to have a backup plan! Hopefully your original package will arrive soon, and you won't need to worry about the additional copies. When we were going through the process, I sent everything USPS International priority (or something like that), and tracked the package online. When I saw that it had been successfully delivered to its destination in Venezuela, I freaked out! Luckily, USPS was able to track it down and get it on its way to Brazil. Sigh...sometimes mailing things is so stressful!
