  1. 1. Obama is Commander in Chief. Why isn't this a scandal bigger than Benghazi?

    • Because the lamestream media is run by LGBT agenda pushers.
    • Because the GOP has forsaken its natural base and is now consorting with the enemy.

If they were on a sub back in the day, it's possible. Now they have women on subs, so not so much. My previous LT was on a sub, he used to say 150 men go down, 75 couple come back up.

You'll see on ships this isn't so much of a problem since they have more women serving now. On my last ship, LCC 19 Blue Ridge, we had about 200 women and about 800 men. If you ever watched the reality show Carrier, my old CMC was on there, Master Chief Pendleton. One of the sailors said it best: It's like one hot dog bun to seven hot dogsdancin5hr.gif

Sorry but women have no place in a deployed or Tactical environment.

Deployments on the ship mean out to sea, not downrange.

That's the best ship in Japan. I miss it a little bit, but I am glad I left when I did. I flew out the day of the tsunami/earthquake.

Same thing... Not saying women can't cut it, heck most of the problem is the way the men treat them. As you said they get too much attention and it's a distraction. Then when senior enlisted and offcier start dipping in the well it causes chain of command problems.

But serving with all that brass on the ship had to suck a little.

We would have GMT all the time about frat, they didn't want us messing with ship's company women, and ship's company couldn't mess with staff. If the relationship went sour, you'd have issues. But it still went down, as human nature. That's why I never had relations with women on the ship. We had a few guys and girls lose rank over it.
