Thanks all.

Regarding case number (IIN or LGS number?) on each document. Even the originals like marraige certificate?

I have quite the bundle so I might go to Office Depot and just get a stamp made.

I got the numbers this morning, sent the email email from Madams email using the VJ template, so now to haunt the website for AOS invoice.

I bought from Office Depot removable labels, and typed the Case Number on the label. MS Word's label program allows you to type and print the same information on each label if you chose.

We sent both the emailed and mailed version of the DS 2030 with a cover letter. Your wife's name on the DS 2030 should be as her legal name is in her documents.

Got the acceptance email but it listed my Wife's maiden name instead of her married name.

Issue or non issue?

Thanks all yah all.

what acceptance email? for the Ds 3032? (if so , that was fast) did you do the supervisor tingy afterall as suggested?

if her passport is in her married name I would suggest you bring it to their attention so they stay consistent , that way her interview letter comes out with the same name as in her passport or may have issue with being allowed into th embassy.

Yeah that was a false alert. After I read it careful I saw that it was just a confirmation (not auto response).

The passport is in her maiden name.

Could you give an idea of the wording in the email? I never heard of a 'confirmation'. You only get an auto response and then acceptance. Sometimes the acceptance gets sent to beneficary's email only so double check that too.

if you want her married name to stay then she should get a new passport in that name... at this stage in the process that will slow things down. Lagos could be pretty picky about the name in the interview notice not being the same with that in the passport. They denied my mom entrance once for visitor's visa just because of middle name omission...though first and last names were consistent.

so if NVC is maintaining her maiden name and that is the name she got her passport with, then thats fine. After she gets here, you could change it during ROC( as changing it before could lengthy and pricey; new green card request and all). I trust omeone will give a contrary opinion if I am wrong.

Thanks Madam.

I think I should leave the actual forms such as DS230, etc unstamped.

I sent ours with post it and I wrote our number on the post it and used either stapler or a paper clip....LOL the CO returned most of my paper clips at the interview and I brought them home with me. :)
