It is about month and half to two months from the time you get your number. You are looking at August or September interview. Earliest would be end of July. Once you get your case number you can submit your choice of agent and then once that is accepted you will see the AOS invoiced and you can pay that online and it takes few days to show paid. Then you could send in your AOS papers and once they get that you will be notified via email and a letter. You could pay IV once that is posted on the website. Get everything packed copied and with case number on each sheet of paper and document. If you are ready and set it should be smooth sailing after that. It takes two weeks between them receiving paperwork until you get a response from them. So be patient and good luck.

Regarding case number (IIN or LGS number?) on each document. Even the originals like marraige certificate?

I have quite the bundle so I might go to Office Depot and just get a stamp made.

I got the numbers this morning, sent the email email from Madams email using the VJ template, so now to haunt the website for AOS invoice.

LGS number on all the documents. On the originals I put a post its and stapled them on top and then wrote the case number. If you got your number today you might or might not be able to invoice the AOS without the Choice of Agent submitted. Try, it is worth the try.

I like your idea of a stamp from Office Depot for it took me hours to write the number on each doc, picture, letter, original and etc...

You are on your way...just be patient and make sure you copy everything you send int. Good luck!

Oh Oh OH. (hand up. I so understand the rubber stamp. I ordered my from the rubber stamp company. Got it in a week. But of course I had 1245 pages to stamp. And I stamped the sticky note and put on all documents.

Because I didn't trust NVC or Embassy I had requested my original marriage certificate and that was sent to me from NVC before they sent off to embassy. No hole punch unscathed.

Lord now to get my photo books from them. They aren't grasping the concept at embassy.. ughhhh

Get the rubber stamp its so cool. I had name stamps for uscis with our full names on them and nvc the case#

I emailed NVCInquiry a Choice of Address and Agent email but I also have a signed DS3032 that I want to send just to be sure.

Do I need to create the barcode strip for this also?

No barcode needed for the DS-3032. When I emailed the copy, it took about a week to get them to process it through.

I just sent the hard copy later with the rest of the packet.

They will send you an email with the cover letter which has the barcode. You will need to use each emailed cover letter with each stage. AOS has its barcode cover letter and IV has its own. To submit your DS-3032 you can do that with your AOS or IV package too.

Deb, I wish I had used the rubber stamp instead of getting a cramp in my wrist. I tell you I was losing sanity as I kept writing that number on each page.

Go for the interview to boost her confidence considering she just experienced a denial few months back and may be a bit unsure this time around. Even though this is your first attempt to submit the DS 3032, I would suggest you do it Re: supervisor's review then your case number. Trust me that will save you days.

You are looking at an August interview. You never know , you just might get a late july interview if you and NVC move on ur case quickly(and no RFE) for early June case complete. By now summer applicants should be thinning down at the embassy.

Yeah I'll be going to the interview with her. Though late July/early August is rather far but the flight prices are more palatable then and I would have earned more vacation hours by them. so who knows maybe I can turn the trip into a 3 weeker.

Are you suggesting that I resend the VJ template based email but this time use (Re: Supervisor) this time?

No barcode needed for the DS-3032. When I emailed the copy, it took about a week to get them to process it through.

I just sent the hard copy later with the rest of the packet.

So you sent the original DS-3032 as an attachment?

Yes. I honestly don't think it mattered either way, but I was kind of ####### about making sure there was nothing left to ask for so there would be little chance for any delays. I hadn't found this forum until after the interview at the embassy so I wasn't sure on if I should send some things or not. I did, and it didn't hurt anyway! smile.png

I also did not know about the stamp, or writing the case number on anything so ooops for me! Great job for you guys!!!

yep! you just might be surprised to have the DS3032 accepted midweek if you email it today. Don't let your jaw drop if you get an acceptance wthin hours of emailing :D. That acceptance jumpstarts the IV invoice within a couple of days.

attaching the DS 3032 is rarely done anymore.

Did you get the AOS invoice yet?

No need for that since you sent via email. Should take about 8 to 14 days to accept and IV Bill invoiced. Don't confuse them more sending the hardcopy. Thats the rest of the world who does that who doesn't know there is an email option.
