NVC May 2013 - K1 filers..

Hey guys im confused a bit! I should wait 15 business days til i call nvc right? Is saturday a business day? Is sunday?

They wont contact us when they recieve our case huh? We have to contact them huh?

you can call before that, but wait at least a week. it's not considered late until it's been 15 business days.

Business days are M-F, excluding holidays (so only four business days next week.)

Thamk u so much! Its comfusing coming here from k1 forum cuz there is so many different kinds of petitions on here. I heard they send an email, but maybe thats only after they r done? Or maybe its for spousal visa.

M-f is 5 days, (?( so since i got my noa2 on the 20th i should wait til the 29th to call huh? Grrr..

yes, there are a few differences between the types, but on the whole, the wait process is the same. I think you do get a notification once it leaves the NVC to the consoulate, though.

yes, 5 days. Assuming nothing goes wrong (unlike some of us) it should hit the NVC and move out pretty quickly.

hello. I told my Fiance to start calling NVC on the 27th (5th day since NOA2) waaaaaa we need it to make an appointment soon... most likely we will have an appointment at the US embassy by July bec June is already fully booked.. and few days from now July will be fully booked too!!

We were approved on May 15 and I just called to see if by chance they received our case yet. They have not, but I'm not surprised. It's only been a few days. She told me it takes 15 business days for them to receive cases, but I'm going to call Thursday or Friday. It seems like most people only have to wait about a week. I hope our case isn't one of the ones that takes forever.

Hi jen_vb,, we got our approval in the same date as yours...we called NVC and they said thecsame thing. I would really like to get it asap...lets hope for the best and hope to get it next week.

Im still waiting to hear when my file will arrive at NVC.... Its been 5 days since our approval..

When i can call NVC? I am living here in Singapore and the time difference sometimes is confusing.. thank you guys.. *itching to get hold of them and get our case number :/
