Please Urgent Help Needed!!!

Hello everyone, my fiance and I need you guys help. We got approved ending of April and NVC received our file May 8, the case number assigned since May 10. We called NVC yesterday to find out if our file has been transfer to the local US consulate, to our suprise, NVC told us that our case is under Administrative process (AP). Our question is, does NVC put cases on AP? And what is the time frame for the AP at the NVC? Is it normal? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Did they actually use the acronym AP?

Because no,NVC doesn't normally put people in AP, but yes, you are still within normal processing times, so if they said something like "we need to do some more processing for this case before sending it to the embassy" then that would be normal.

I would not worry abt it . I was on AP till last week .. it only lasted 3 weeks -- but you can call them every day and ask .. Mostly when they have your information laying on seomeone's table waiting to be entered in the system they referred to it as AP.
