This I've been thinking about, im from Jamaica an I'm wondering since my Fiancé got the noa1 on Febuary 21,2013, and the uscis field office is closed in Jamaica since march 1,2013....I am wondering if I have to go to the Dominican repolic for the interview ???? Can some one help me out ?

No. You have your interview at the Consulate in Kingston. The USCIS office has nothing to do with that part of the process. I believe you would use only use that field office if filing from abroad. Good Luck!

10/17/13- Issued

10/23/13- Picked up passport from DHL

The USCIS office has nothing to do with the Jamaican Consulate processing your K-1 petition. The embassy is still open.

September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)

October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

July 23, 2025:  Filed N-400 online

December 9, 2025:  N-400 interview - approved

February 27, 2026:  Oath
