Thanks. looks like for Indian embassy, they haven't given schedule yet for August month.

our case completed on Jul 3rd. received on July 11th. my guess interview will be in September. mumbai consulate did not scheduled any interviews for 2 weeks in July. they will have july backlog for august.

Called the NVC on Friday, they said my case is complete and they will schedule an interview shortly. My wife will be interviewing at the Islamabad embassy. Does anyone have any idea as to when the interview may potentially be?

Will my wife potentially receive the visa the day of the interview, or is there a waiting time?

And the visa will be sent out within a few days from the interview, if approved. You can only get the visa the same day if there were extreme circumstances.

NVC approved my case late last week. When should I expect an email indicating the next steps? I want to make sure the medical and other things are done asap

Since August interviews are closed you are looking at being now in the queue for September. You will get your P4 Interview email with your personal checklist of things to bring when they schedule your interview. The medical and where you go to the embassy website for that info or check with your countries forum.

duplicate post (actually posted 8 different times!) has been removed. Please do not post your question in more than one location and if you have already started a thread (2 actually) asking the same question, restrict your participation on that question to that thread only. Posting more than once will not get you more or better answers, rather people will just not bother to answer the question believing it has already been answered elsewhere and you will end up with less information rather than more.
