NVC Received : some dinkelsberry yehoo in the house of clingons send our petition to the wrong consulate.

Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Date : Oct 22, 2014

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

US Entry : Nov. 21, 2014

Marriage : Dec 27, 2014

AOS send : May 12, 2015, received May 14, 2015 USPS priority

Email &text : May 18, 2015, check cashed May 19,2015, return receipt May 21, 2015 stamped USCIS Lockbox, NOA1 (3x) May 22,2015

Biometrics : June 1, 2015 letter received for appointment June 8, 2015, successful walk-in June 1, 2015

RFE : June 12, 2015 for income not meeting guideline. Income does ( ! ) exceed guideline.

RFE response : June 26, 2015 returned with a boat load full of financial evidence.

UPDATE: July 5, 2015 updated on all 3 cases, RFE received June 30, 2015.

Service request : Aug 12, 2015, letter received that it will be processed within 90 days from receipt of RFE.

UPDATE: Aug 24, 2015, EAD card being produced/ordered. ( 102 days from AOS receipt day and 55 days from RFE response received.) Thank you Jesus !

July 21, 2017 HOME VISIT.  Went well. Topic thread in AOS forum.
Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

Can't help thinking that his friends must be in on it. Think of how many other women they may be calling and asking for money which they may end up keeping for themselves. Be happy that you escaped being married to him so you have less heartache.

October 26, 2012: Picked up visa from DHL (delay caused by Sandy)
December 15, 2012: POE Atlanta....................became USC July 2016!!!!

Mothers' Journey (My sister is the petitioner)

September 10, 2013: Sent I-130 (UPS next day service)

September 12, 2013: Received text to confirm delivery

September 16, 2013: Received NOA 1

March 22, 2014: Received NOA 2

April 8, 2014: File Received by NVC

May 26, 2015: Interview (approved)..........now LPR (delays caused by 2 RFE)

you said "i hate that he is in prison', are you kidding right? he is in prison because he is a fraudster, do not feel sorry for this scumbag, and besides that he is a scammer as well.Move on,do not look back.

I agree 100%. How else do you expect him to get the idea that scamming is not ok ? Why would you want to enable that kind of behavior

by feeling sorry for him ? Why do victims feel sorry for perpetrators .... think of it in terms of if he is in prison he can't scam 10 other women.

If he wants to play he has to pay that is life. Actions=consequences. End of story. Move on without looking back. Change phone numbers.

For this type of scamming to be successful, there is a team, a krewe.

Of course his friends are in on it, these are his co-workers in the scam, his team-mates.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Change your #s, return to sender snail mails from there,block from FB (if U have acct) and forget this

guy someone like that can cut your throat and keep it moving...count your lucky stars and make sure

everything is shutdown at immigration.....Go out with some friends (different friends) and enjoy life, send

no charity to him or family.

One thing many USC's have a hard time wrapping their heads around is that some sub cultures find a decieptful mindset to be a good thing. They use this for self advancement for their compatriaits. There have been cases in the US with all sorts of investment and religious frauds. The mention of Nigeria for many conjures up images of internet dens of young men pretending to be people with large sums of money needing short term assistance to change their current problems in turn for which they will share their vast fortunes or come marry you. I think pockets exists in every culture but for those raised with principles it is a nightmare when you come into contact with these people. You need to severe all ties with this mess. It is the life work of this group to scam people, they have well practiced tales, are practiced at making you feel the need to help. You should delete and block every contact with anyone that knows you through this person. Report him to all immigration control points you feel he may try to take advantage of and then try not to bring him back to mind. And please don't refer to him as your future husband it would be more appropiate to call him things that I probably can't type here.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
