I used a counter check. I did write a little note saying it was for the I-751 application and biometrics fee.

Im at work printing off all the bank statements from may 2013 to november 2011. Didnt have enough ink at home lol. Im going to get the money order made today and hopefully mailed. Otherwise im going to mail it on monday.

Is it really going to take 8 months to get conditions removed? By that time we will be applying for Naturalization lol. I guess all that matters is getting the notice that our I751 has been recieved. ^_^

Oh, lucky printing from work! I had to print everything from home, thus running out of ink right near the end, forcing me to buy ink online at Amazon and paying for overnight shipping laughing.gif Oh well, it's sent!

And yes, it really takes that long for petitions to get looked at. Actually, if you were considering doing naturalization, once you're eligible, file for it, as it'll force a decision on your ROC petition!

Looks good. Make sure you include the I-751 form ;) And for the copy of the green card, make sure it's both the front AND back.

I'd suggest color for the green card (as well as other photocopies, but especially the green card).

I sent mine by Priority mail, arrived 2 days later. I didn't have a signature, but did have tracking, so I knew when it was delivered by checking online. For 3 pounds, it only cost $13, which was a lot less than what I was expecting.

I didn't have any personal checks, but I was able to get 3 counter checks at the bank for $3. Since we had just joined accounts a few weeks prior, it had both our names on it as well.

When we first applied for Permanent Residence, i had to include paperwork showing where i was adopted even though i still used my birth name when i got married. Should i include it with the I751 also? Because unfortunately on our daughters birth certificate, it has me as my adopted name. Please advise, im mailing it out tomorrow.

first and foremost let me just say my check is cleared just checked my online account "VSC FIELD OFFICE PAYMENT"...

Did you guys used a cashier's check or personal check? If it's a cashier's check, did you put the purpose on it?

i used personal check, you don't need to write anything just a check they know what it is for. but if you do write it's fine.

Im at work printing off all the bank statements from may 2013 to november 2011. Didnt have enough ink at home lol. Im going to get the money order made today and hopefully mailed. Otherwise im going to mail it on monday.

yea it takes quite long but like said before, who really cares about the 10 year card, I mostly want the NOA1 so I can go to my July vacation, after that I don't care how long it takes, I am going to apply for n400 next may anywho :)

I used USPS next day, it was 27 dollars but it arrived the next day, without delivery confirmation because with USPS next day they give you a tracking number so it's pretty secure, I tracked it it arrived the next day at like 1pm, ( i sent the day before at like 11am)

both name being or not on the check is really a no-nevermind thing, I don't think it's an evidence.

good luck
