I-485 and I-765 help needed

I-485

Filling in my I-485. I am currently in the US on a non immigrant R-1 but my I-360 was approved for special immigrant religious worker.

I was reading the instructions for filling out the form. For part 2, it seems to make sense for me to mark box (a) but I think from reading the instructions I should mark box (h). Any thoughts?

I-765

Am I seeking permission to accept employment OR renewing permission to accept employment?

Is the EAD exclusively for immigrant visas as opposed to non-immigrant visas? I am confused as to what needs to be checked.

Likewise, I am confused if I have applied for employment authorization before? If I have, is the USCIS office London?

I-485 is A. Read through the parentheses - you have an approved special immigrant petition. I am guessing, but you should verify, that that petition gives you an immediately available visa number.

I-765 Check seeking employment because it is a new category. But, did you ever apply for an EAD before or is your R visa work-authorized by itself? I am not sure, but in either case it should be "permission to accept." Good luck.

Just realized I might have made a mistake when sending my I-765

I sent two passport pics in the package but they were pertaining to the I-485. Was I supposed to send two additional photos?

Yes you were - you will probably get an RFE for that

Ugh. So annoyed with myself.

Should they be fairly snappy in sending the RFE to me? And that shouldn't affect the I-485 right?

An RFE will pause all of your applications. You might get one for the photos, you might not. You were supposed to send them in but some have gotten away with it, others have gotten RFE.
