I know patient is the key to everything at the moment when it comes to waiting for the approval. However, I heard and read that something happened and that is why a lot of us is being held back due to that ''problem''. I don't fully understand whats going on, but the processing time still says July 18 and I got my NOA1 February 6th and I was just wondering How is everyone doing? Do i have to wait another 5-8months to get approve because It is taking long so long :(. I thought filing the I-129f and within 6-8months our significant other should have been arms reach, but nope everything is just being delayed can anyone explain to me what is happening with the USCIS (1-129F) . I know someone who was able to be with their fiancé in 3-4 months and that is why we decided to just get Married here in Hawaii. Now they said it might take almost 8 months just to get approve :(. Been praying and I hope everyone is doing okay because it's so hard being away from your love ones.

I know the waiting can be very tough but that is part of the process. While you will likeley have to wait a couple of more months, the good news is the worst of the CSC slowdown seems to have past. Those of us that waited 7-9 months are now being approved. CSC is moving at a very fast rate now so I doubt you will have to wait that long. Just keep praying!

Just hang in there. It really takes time and it is a process. You can check the trend through Igor's List in VJ:

I'm a December filer so my fiance and I are just praying and patiently waiting. Meanwhile you can do a lot of things to occupy your time. God bless!

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between September 8, 2013 and October 10, 2013*.

But if approval rate for CSC continues and finally got done adjudicating all petitions for 2nd half of 2012, most likely you'll get your approval sooner than estimated time.

Good luck on your journey!

I get the impression that the recent moves to backfill some of the July-Oct filers is moving out the average date for 2013 filers like us. I'd seen my timeline reverse back to June for a few days and now it's moving back out following the spurt of activity with "Black Holers" which I expect to continue.

If I was a gambling man I'd say they are making a concerted effort to clear the 2012 backlog. It would be nice (but a surprise) if they move onto 2013 just yet.

Of course I have to add that the VJ timeline is an imperfect thing in a world of imperfection so while it's fun to read, it's the randomness of CSC and VSC which matters.

It's hard for everyone, yes, I understand that. But, first come, first served. Please have some compassion for the Jul/Aug/Sept/Oct filers who were just left in the dark while Nov & Dec suddenly got processed.. It's not very fair to wish Jan & Feb to get processed and have all those 2012 filers still feeling the delays. I, myself, am an Oct 2012 filer and while this whole process is a headache & a heartache, I would still like to see ALL the Jul/Aug/Sept applications approved before my NOA1 month gets started on!! Again, I know it's hard. But, remember there are others way worse off than you.. Have heart, and good luck on your journey.

I am sorry you feel that way, but if you notice I did say for those January February Filer approved yet? I didn't say anything about July-Oct I now it must be really difficult for you and that is why I am wondering what is going on with the processing time :). And Yes I do have a heart thank you for your concern (a compassionate nurse here). Don't worry I will surely pray extra hard enough for you and your love one :) and for those who is ''worse off than'' me :) . I don't want no drama or any problem with anybody because I am pretty sure it is hard for everyone not just you or the people who hasn't been approve yet. Some people do just get lucky and let us just be happy for them and wait for our time. God Bless and Goodluck as well :)

I filed around the same time as the OP and what you've written is exactly how I feel about it. When they were working on December filers, my timeline jumped to june, and now that they are hitting the backlog, it's back to the september/october estimate. I truly think of both of those as exaggerations. I did some estimating, and figured that if they kept up the pace they were on right now I'd most likely get approved in June, but I fully expect there to be a few lulls in the processing, but as long as we don't have another onslaught of filings (which could happen if they pass new legislation allowing all out of status persons to get back to legal status) then I'd realistically expect an August NOA2

I hope for everyone's sake that they handle the legislation for legalization of all out of status people better than they handled the DACA onslaught. Everyone deserves a fair system to work with.

I WISH they were approving January/February! I would be dancing if they were. CSC was taking eight months or longer, VSC around six months. It seems CSC is moving faster now. I would recommend expecting your NOA2 in September. Good luck!

If anyone wants to follow the January 2013 progress I suggest subscribing to the January 2013 thread. If you see my most recent post one January 2013 filer w/o a timeline has claimed to have received their NOA2 but did not follow up on their claim by completing a timeline. Overall I think we're looking at late June if CSC can keep up their current pace but a few may be lucky and get approved earlier than that.
