Hello everyone,

How much is enough proof of ongoing relationships?

I have a few e-mails to be exact 5 e-mails, 2 hand written letters and skype chat logs since 2011!!

I don't think printing out the 1,000 pages or more of skype chat logs will be of any use? It's too much. Don't think they will sit for 1 month and read conversations, if anything that person might get annoyed or think..."is this person crazy" hahah just a thought!

What things can I include? That will just be ENOUGH to prove our bonafide relationship.

Thanks guys!

we only send in 27 pages of chat logs, we send in 18 pages of skype call logs, copy of remittances receipts, pictures, gift receipts..

Did you copy paste it to a word document?

- I first used skype historian for the chat logs and skype log view for extracting skype log calls. the skype historian takes a lot of work for me since the date and time for chat logs where in descending order so i rearrange them in MS word after copy pasting from notepad.

- I think that will be ok as for some does not really look at remittances but might be looked at the interview (really depends which consulate or who will do the interview) but what is important is that you met each other in person in the past 2 years.

You may search Skype historian in Google and download it. and you can start extracting chat logs. you can choose the dates you just want to be extracted or you can have all extracted since 2011 and save in a folder by month, day and username. you also have the option to save it in .txt file which is notepad then copy paste in word. (since the date and time stamps are in descending order, I highlight it all and change the font size to 1 then arranged in ascending order by clicking that A-Z icon in MS word then change the font size to my preferred size then select the conversation i just want to print). I don't know if any one here knows an application that you can use aside from skype historian. but for some they just print screen some of their skype conversation

We only attached maybe 6 or 7 emails (covered 2 pages only) and focused mostly on boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel receipts, and photos in different locations. So I wouldnt worry so much about the Skype logs!

Then again we could receive an RFE

Only time will tell

good.gif but i hope we don't receive RFE. lol. but i think it also depends on the consulate. for there are some countries that prefers frontloading,etc... also depends on the petitioner/beneficiary if they want to send in more.. but for some few is enough.really depends..lol

I misread your question about the cash receipts. when my fiance visited me, we compiled the receipts that we have. and those are all in CASH.. :) it's in the link below (our frontloaded I129F)

Preparing 20 emails and 20 chat logs here. :) I don't think you have to print all of them. Just enough to show you guys are maintaining the communication everyday. :)

No, I disagree, your evidence should be varied and of sufficient content to prove to a total stranger (the Embassy CO) that you have a real relationship and you both have the intention to become married and intend for that to last.

I would say, it depends on the petitioner/beneficiary,If the country has high fraud cases,etc.. if the consulate prefers front loading etc... we had send in as much evidence we have instead of having it sit on the table. and will bring in more for the interview (chat logs, call logs, remittances, etc - the latest evidence after sending the I-129F to prove that we still have ongoing and bonafide relationship). some had questioned about front loading our I-129F, that it was just a waste of paper, money, etc bec ours was 380+ pages... and that these are useless and wouldn't be looked up, etc.. Only few understands front-loading (i guess). have read threads about front-loading.... in the end it really depends on the petitioner/beneficiary if they want to front-load or take chances. in our case, we don't want to take chances. but we made sure that we followed the guidelines and send in additional documents that we think would support our petition. and also some would say it was easy for them when they were in the process BUT what one's experience does not always applies to everyone. And also it will be a different consulate, different officer, different adjucator,etc... so don't take any chances.uscis might not look at all the papers u send but the consul might look at it and make decision even before u go for the interview.. so don't take any chances... i end up telling people to not mind our i129f if they think it is wrong. LOL.

I put a lot of stuff in for evidence support of the I-129F, but only a few pages of things, and a photo print sheet of all the photos (80 total), and then a letter explaining that I have also submitted a cd with the full blown images, and chat logs for their further examination if necessary, along with putting THE ENTIRE I-129F PACKET into .pdf format and putting that on a dvd as well, sooooooo....in the event of a flood (I did this before I even heard about the incident at CSC, which is where my file is now at), the dvd can still obtain the ENTIRE packet information wet or not, and a dvd is kind of harder to ruin vs cd. I will also do the same to submit the proof of continued relationship (kinda helps that I've been through this before). :bonk:

Oh, and I stapled the dvd sleeve to a piece of paper labled with the form, our names, and that it is evidence, so that the dvd could not just fall out of the file, and if it did with the attached paper, it had name, form, what it is, etc. Being military has made me very ####### about paperwork. :D I labled the dvd with permanent marker too with the same info.

I printed phone bills, but I mainly focused on plane tickets, hotel reservation proof, credit card receipts of things bought while there, etc...

wow, you sure are thorough:) but what puzzles me is you still got an RFE despite your petition paperwork being frontloaded? i wonder what they asked for?

and your timeline about her squeezing your hand made me smile, no it made me chuckle hahaha
