After 280 days my fiancé finally got to the interview (hope none of you ever have to wait out the ridiculous "9 weeks of waiting for a stupid test) if someone has TB,., you can find out in 24 hours, if you want to!

Anyway.,,.now that she has passed her interview as of April was asked 5 simple questions, looked at some pictures, "passed".,., very easy! Now they kept her passport.,., and within 5-8 days it should be delivered to her in Compestela, Cebu!

My question is this, she works about 10-12 minutes from where she lives, and she works crazy shifts at a Resort, (front desk) it is my understanding that 2GO will text her.,., but what if she is working????? I have also, been told, that 2GO will only deliver to the address info. in the passport! Please, any and all suggestions are appreciated, as I will go there next week, to being her back, to the USA, but I am so worried as how to get the packet from the embassy from 2GO.,.,, if anyone has some advice please offer it.,.,.,and does anyone know how to contact 2GO for the Compestela, Cebu area, as I have also been told that you can ask them to keep it at there office, and you can pick it up there.,.,.,

Does anyone have any contact information to contact 2GO??? Thanks for the help, please!

Is there someone else living at her house who can receive the visa packet for her? If yes, all she needs to do is provide an authorization letter. Ask her to leave a valid ID with the letter and ask the person receiving the packet to show a valid ID as well.

Good luck! You are almost finished with this leg of the journey! :)

Why not just quit her job now? It isn't as if she's making the big bucks, eh?

After the interview your fiancee when to a window where they verified the 2GO info for delivering the visa, they do not go by the address inside the passport, they go by what address she put on that form.

And I have to agree with others... Why is she still working?! Its pack the bags time and quality time saying the Good Byes.

We also were worried, so we had my fiancé write a letter authorizing 2GO to leave it with the guard/reception in our condo building, which worked great. We were out the day it arrived, but they had it for us when we got back. Ours took about 11 days, and we were in Manila. So 5-8 to Cebu seems a bit fast.

Ya I couldn't get my wife to stop working either, even after she was done with the visa interview she kept working for awhile (and I was there! )

That is a very good quality in a person for sure.

Pray? There really isn't much else that can be done to speed up the process from Visa Approval to Delivery that you haven't already taken steps to procure. Just be prepared for plan B if the flight day comes and your fiance's visa still is not in hand. You'll need to still get the CFO sticker affixed to the passport. Depending on which airline you are flying with, it may not cost too much to reschedule a ticket. I know when I had to reschedule my wife's ticket back in 09/12, I went to the local ticketing office in Makati and they charged me $75 to change the flight date, that was with United Airlines. I remember similar prices with JAL when I flew with them several years ago as well.

We had our interview on 4/1/13. Got approved. CFO course complete but must go back for sticker once Visa is received. Our flight is booked for 11:45pm on 4/10/13. We selected to have the visa sent to a 2go office where we'd pick it up. There's no sign of it at the moment and we're very concerned. More than likely going to have to reschedule the flight now. The destination where we selected is only minutes away from the embassy, yet they can't get it there in a timely manner. Very frustrated. I know they say you shouldn't book a flight until after you have Visa in hand but with how costly and time consuming this all is, it's difficult to wait on that. The ticket prices fluctuate so much that if you can get a somewhat reasonable deal, you kind of have to jump at it. A week later and indication is that it hasn't left the embassy yet.
