April 1, 2013 I fixed the mistake I had on my previous application and I sent it back. It is so confusing whether I am doing things right and the stress is so much to go through when waiting to hear from USCIS. I'm finding different answers and ways to fill out the papers. Like blue ink as opposed to black. Put my Name and Birthdate on every paper in the same place the same way. I didnt do that I added the current date and my Social. It wasnt clear that I needed letters of recommendation of sort from Family and Friends that have met my Fiancee and spent time with us on his two visits to USA when sending in my Petition for the 1st time. I didnt include the photos of us together, etc. Because it did not clearly say to do so and all I get when I called was... do exactly what the applications asks you for. I sent a Cover Letter, Letter of Intent from both of us, the Forms for the visa I-129F, The biographic for us both, The form for email/text message to inform me when they received my package and if it was approved. Copy of my Birth Certificate front and back and of his Passport stamps and photo. The two papers for the trip he took here with dates, two papers from my Landlord of the request to stay at my home because they have to approe any over night visits. The check with proper filing fee of $340 and sent it priority to Dalla, TX. I know they say up to 10 days - 30 to hear from them but Im so anxious!! A friend here sent hers March 21, 2011 and 5 days later they cashed her check then the 6th day sent her a text stating the application was approved. By April 2012 they were married and together and November of 2012 he was here for good. I've sent the first packet regular mail and second Priority but Im not sure that helped speed it up any! I am hoping and praying that our process goes as smooth as hers and as quick as it did. So, Just wanted to post that I sent it and am waiting but whew I am a nervous wreck wating. We been together 7 years in September and he is planning his 3rd visit here in August and I am so looking forward to his 4th and last visit which will hopefully be our wedding day. <3

Your post is very difficult to read as it is one big paragraph. I didn't notice any questions in the first post, so I'll just answer the second:

A K1 fiance visa process is very different from your friend who did a spousal visa it seems.

There are no US embassies inside the USA.

Okay, Thank you. I found out today that I dont go to an embassy.. just him. I was exhausted but happy when I posted this and didnt think about making paragraphs! Im sure it was hard to read this way but the jest is still there. No , she talked to me in more detail today she used someone to help her that is why hers went through faster she said. Just hoping the original filing of the fiancee visa petirion goes through and they cash my check to proceed to the next step.

Slovakia.. and we found his I thought I had to go as well but found out I dont.

Sorry for the typos and run on! Was tired and excited when I typed this. Found more information today now just waiting for them to send me my letter that they received my package and if it was approved or rejected. Hoping approved. Anxious and excited. I have to be patient.

I just checked the US embassy website for Slovakia, and I don't think there is a consulate or embassy in Banska Bystrica. Your fiancé will most likely go through the embassy in Bratislava. Here is some information about K1 visas off the American embassy website in Bratislava: http://slovakia.usembassy.gov/fiance-visas-k1.html

Good luck with the procedure!
