10. Send in I-864 AOS Package to NVC

When status of the AOS shows as PAID (online): Print the barcode and include it in your AOS package which are:

  • BARCODED Cover Sheet (to be printed from web when your status is PAID online for AOS bill)

  • Your OWN cover sheet listing what documents are in the package, so they're easy for the reviewer to locate

  • Completed I-864 signed

  • Original Employment Letter

  • Most recent tax return (all forms)

  • Copy of PAY STUBS for current year (showing how much money you have made year to date)

  • Last 3 years Tax transcripts, W-2 and/or 1099 (any source of income) OPTIONAL

  • SPONSOR: I-864 + all above documents for sponsor. Each sponsor that lives in the same household as the petitioner, should use I-864a, instead of I-864

  • Make 2 extra copies of this package. Send 1 copy to the beneficiary

Make sure to write your case number in the upper right-hand corner of EVERY page including I-864.

Send the package to:

National Visa Center

Just follow the instructions on that link. Once you get case complete from NVC, it's easy. You've done most of the work with them. All that will be left is the embassy steps which is pretty much proof of ongoing relationship, and the medical.

It's been 3 long years, I've lost 30lbs, alienated myself from my family because I couldn't answer questions about when my family would arrive. I could've had my wife here already but refused to seperate her from her daughter while I got her paperwork in order. There is resentment over all that has happened. I hope all works out in the end, I've put everything I have on the line. The hope that my mother in law will one day call me by my name and not farang, as I am the one who feeds her daughter an her grand daughter . The hope she will understand that the roads are not paved in gold and Obama doesn't pass out bags of money to poor people . I feel so small after doing very good things. Still trying to cope with the fact that my daughters "real" father who hasn't seem her since she was 4 months old would try to sell his signiture to me, I'm praying every day that our custody paperwork will allow my daughter to come to America. I won't know until the final moment. What I do know is that if she's not approved this dream is over for me. Sorry for rambling but I need it to survive, you people know what I'm going through. Thank you

I wouldn't be too offended by the farang thing. Paying the father for the signature is kinda SOP over there unfortunately.

As for the rest of post, I hope it's only your MIL that thinks the roads are paved with gold here and not your wife.

its definitly the MIL, ,my wife knows very well. I know the farang thing shouldnt bother me but it does. if thai I dont know call me that it doesnt offend me. But if a person who was going to the batroom in a hole outside 3 years ago and diddnt have a pot to Pi#$ in who now does calls me that , i find it offensive to a degree i cant explain, i put this womens son through school and feed all of her childrens in some way and she lives with none of her children. i guess i have alot of resentment with her that needs to be resoloved, but i think its best left alone.
